ibmanager

This is the main program of the IB-System that manages the device control process.

• It manages and launches control logics, loaded from dynamically linked libraries with a strictly defined interface.
• It allows access to remote variables, made available by other IB-System programs via the ibprotocol communication protocol (e.g., ibvunit) – it can act as a proxy.
• It keeps variable values between successive runs of the program in a file.
• It allows sending alerts (SMS or email messages) in response to specific events and according to a defined schedule​.

The documentation applies to the ibmanager program in version 3.7.4.

ibmanager is available on the platforms:
